Python View doesn't re-execute in KNIME Server

Hello everyone,
As mentioned in the title, when we have a component in which we have re-execution nodes plus a Python View node, the Python View is never updated after re-executing.
This only affects this node (other Viz. nodes update correctly) AND only happens in the Server.
Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround we can apply before it gets fixed?

may I ask which version of KNIME Server, KNIME Executor, and Analytics Platform are you using?
Also could you share a sample workflow to be tested (without any sensitive data), or if it is not possible a screenshot of the relevant part of the workflow?
Do you see any error message in the AP Consol (when you are running the workflow ‘as new job on the Server’ in the Analytics Platform Remote Workflow Editor) , or you ‘only’ see that on the webportal that the view didn’t get updated?

Thanks for the quick feedback.

  • KNIME Server: 4.16.2
  • KNIME Executor & KNIME client: 4.7.1

We don’t see any error. Simply the execution doesn’t happen. I have added 2 views in the component, one is a “normal” visualization node and the other one is the Python View node. Only the Python View node visualization is not updating.

thank you for the technical details.
Unfortunately this is a bug that will be fixed in the future AP versions (hopefully in 5.1.0 releasing in the end of July).
You can check whether the fix is done in the next version(s) in our changelog. (Currently the ID of the bug is UIEXT-862)
