Quote character option in Column Combiner

Hello,

This is a very minor request.

When I set the Quote character field to blank in the Column Combiner settings and press the OK button, the setting seems to be ignored and the default value (double quotes) is set.

I would like to be able to set it to blank or have a warning that it cannot be set to blank.

Hi @tymsk3891 ,

I think the config is not totally intuitive but if you don’t want to have quotes, you need to use the “replace delimiters” option, and choose a character to be used if the chosen delimiter character is found in the column strings. Does that then achieve what you are after?

I do agree though that if you delete the quote in the “quoted” option, a message should tell you that this is not a valid config, rather than just ignoring you! :wink:

I just felt a bit of an odd behavior with the node, but it’s fine.
