reference to config dialog window

Is it possible, to get the reference for the config dialog window? With SwingUtilities I could not find it with getRoot, or getWindowAncestor. It would be really helpful, because -for example for RapidMiner's tooltips- sometimes it is practical to have non-null value for the parent (j)frame.

The dialogs are insde SWT windows, therefore you won't get them via the Swing/AWT API. You may look to a JApplet in the parent hierarchy, this is the top-most AWT component, which itself is then embedded in the SWT window.
