Rules engine with math and string manipulation

I’ve found several threads asking for a rules engine with math and string manipulation. I want to echo the request. This would be EXTREMELY helpful. Please consider. JAVA snippet is an option but a pain.

This is already in the making, we try to have this ready for the next release but, you might need to wait for the winter release.
