SAS XPORT file reader / SEND file reader now available in Lhasa community contribution

Hi All

Lhasa Limited has released to our nightly build a KNIME node for reading SAS XPORT files. 

The XPT format is used in the 'Standard for Exchange of Nonclinical Data (SEND)' and we hope you may find it useful. 

It's currently released in Beta form as we haven't thrown enough malformed XPT files at. Let us know if you run into any issues.

Hi Sam, do you also provide a XPT Writer or is there another solution let say to export the file after some manipulation again in XPT format.

Hi Annika

Unfortunately I haven’t written any code that can write an XPORT file.

You should be able to use a python snippet node and a package like https://pypi.python.org/pypi/xport/ to write one out but I haven’t tried this myself.
