i have trouble saving workflows.
When i click on saving, i got no error message but the next day when i reopen the workflow it is an old version.
I already tryd to save it by using a different name and also to exported it.
Even if i open the saved and exportet file to check, it seams fine, but on the next day it is a old version.
I also have done the reset of the workfow bevor exporting it.
That is an interesting problem you are running into. I have never seen that happen, but if I had to guess why it isn’t saving properly, it might be due to a corrupted installation.
Hitting control-S or command-S should be plenty to save the workflow.
Have you tried reinstalling KAP and having the issue still persist?
The files and folders being as expected on disk suggests that saving the workflow works as expected.
Probably you have a second workspace that contains an older version of this (and maybe other) workflows, which KNIME switches to.
Why this switch occurs is not clear to me and may be caused by an unhappy installation as TL points out, but you can confirm it is “just” a different workspace by manually switching from and back to the workspace you really want to use.
The setting to do so is located in the top right “Menu” dropdown:
thank you for your repley. I have checked the Workspace, no issue there.
Just had this issue again. I also had trouble by trying to copy a part of the workflow.
I will try the installation of the current version of KNIME and try again.
