SDF reader does not render structures

Hi,

I installed Knime 2.7.4 and added a number of extensions, among others the Knime Base Chemistry Types & Nodes version 2.7.2.0036602 and the Knime Chemistry Add-Ons version 2.7.0.0035863.

One of these two add-ons adds the Chemistry I/O nodes. However in this version the SDF Reader node does not render any chemical structures upon reading an SD file.

Can you reproduce this?

KNIME itself does not have any molecule rendering functionality. You need to install at least one of the 3rd party chemical toolkits such as the free Infocom/ChemAxon nodes, RDKit, Indigo, or CDK.

Installing the Infocom/ChemAxon nodes did the trick.
