Hi,
I would like to use the Send Email node using the credentials input from the Microsoft Authenticator node.
I’ve searched the forum and found many topics discussing the sending of emails. I’ve stumbled across reference to internal ticket AP-19581.
Hi Tobias, thank you for you guidance. I think the issue on my end is the MFA verification step, I don’t have the necessary rights / access to be able to get an apps password setup - so I’ll probably will be unable to utilise the node.
Thanks in any case, was good to find what out what would be needed to enable it
Please can you advise whether there has been an update on this please?

Hi @taylorpeter55 ,
your are right, we are looking into this. While there are no updates to share, there are many requests (and I also added a +1 for you). Releasing this node in summer, as mentioned in the other thread, is still the latest plan.
Thanks for you feedback,
nan

Internal ticket ID: AP-19581
Summary: Microsoft Exchange Online Connector (Basic Auth deprecated in March '26)
Fix version(s): 5.6.0
Other related topic(s):
I’ve been trying to use the knime email connector (labs) node with not much success. I’m using outlook and tried the following settings in the node with different port numbers
email server: outlook.office365.com
port: I’ve tried 993, 995, 110 but none seem to work
When I try 993 with my credentials it mentions “Execute failed: AUTHENTICATE failed.”; but I use that username and password to login for mail.
When I use 995 / 110 / 587, I get the following error message
Execute failed: Couldn’t …
Hi guys, I want to use KNIME to connect to an email account by providing client id, client secret and tenant id. Are there any nodes in KNIME can achieve these functions?

Thanks!
