SentiWordNet for Sentiment Analysis

Has anybody used SentiWordNet for sentiment analysis? Does anybody know of a KNIME example workflow to access this lexicon for sentiment analysis purposes?

Hi @dursundelen -

I haven’t seen one myself. It looks very interesting for estimating subjectivity, in addition to the usual sentiment analysis though.

In general, there are two approaches to sentiment analysis: manual labeling followed by classification; and automated via a lexicon, like SentiWordNet. I think it would be very valuable to text analysts using KNIME to have a node or component that makes access to SentiWordNet possible.
