"Show heap status" setting resets on KNIME restart

I run the modern UI and like having the “Show heap status” setting active as it makes it easy for me to run garbage collection whenever needed.

For some reason, when I start up KNIME the heap status doesn’t show on the UI. When I go to the settings to enable it, it is checked on. To have it display I then need to disable it, click apply, enable it and click apply again.

Hi @Ntrpy and welcome to the forum.

Currently the heap status isn’t displayed in the modern UI, like it used to be in the Classic UI. We have a ticket for this in our system (NXT-2564) and I’ve added a +1 on it from you.
