My submission on the Challenge. There are assumptions/my understanding as per challenge description …i.e. What will be called an victory ( Min tries will be winner) secondly assigning a weighs W=2 for difficult words and 0 for others… with the weight of difficult words 1st player doesn’t lose his position while 2nd player descends to last.
Hello everyone,
here is my solution proposal: justknimeit-8 - Raffaello Barri .
You can decide the weight directly in the component view (default value is 1, with 2 you double the score, etc.).

We play Wordle game on a daily basis with my colleagues, that’s the background why I took it serious in my workflow. Basically, I didn’t like the simplistic idea of the word weights, so you can find the full Wordle word universe parsed in the component. I have explicitly removed the Green and Yellow hit probability calculation nodes from the component - not to ruin anyone’s joy of playing Wordle. The word simplicity weight is left over as an output, so I converted it as (1-weight) to the word complexity. I used Formula1 from 90s points system to score the guess attempts 1-6 (10,6,4,3,2,1).
Please tag your workflow on the KNIME Hub with justknimeit-8. Then I can find all of them in one search!
Hi everyone,
Here is my solution.
- There are 3 bar charts for each player with point normalization
- 1 table view for normal and weighted average and difference between them.
Whoah! Shout out to the very encompassing and creative modeling of wordle!

Here is my solution to challenge 8!
Hi folks,
Here’s the KNIME team’s solution to Challenge 8.
We tried to keep it simple in terms of configuration to shed even more light on the unusual use of the Unpivoting node.
As always, thanks for inspiring us with your solutions and collaboration!
See you all soon for challenge 9.
