String Manipulation (Multi Column) Node - "Transformed" Column created

Hello friends
Is it correct for this node to create new columns with the name “transformed” for each desired column?
Is it possible to keep only the originals and replace?

Otherwise I’m using the Column Filter later.

I’m not in front of a computer but by heart I remember that there is an option to check at the end of the Dialog Menu for setting the new values in the original columns without adding extra columns.
