String Replacer (Dictionary) won't work

Hi KNIME community,

I am trying to use String replacer to replace a few material details for example., Key word Sheet EN 100131 to target EN 100131. In my excel sheet there are multiple such materials where the spelling is wrong or material is mentioned in German ( Blech for example). I have tried multiple keywords( 100131) and yet the target value is not achieved!

Another info I am using table creator to make the dictionary

I would really appreciate it, if someone can help me out here!

From your description, I guess this is a job for ‘Similarity Search’ node:

I can share with you a :point_right: related workflow using these family nodes -Distance Matrix Extension- for your insights.

You can connect the dictionary node -whether the source is a ‘table creator’ or not, it’s not relevant at this stage- to the ‘String Distances’ node as in the provided example.

If further support is needed, please provide data sample to work with.
