I wonder whether it is possible through some CSS edit making the sunburst chart labels all visible at once at the respective sections of the chart. Currently one can view the numbers/percentages only when hovering over with the mouse, which does not work for printed publications/reports

I am afraid at the moment there is not a built in setting for this.
I know it is not what you are looking for but if you hover your mouse over the segment of your sunburst chart, with the Snipping Tool (in Win) you can create a screen shot of the chart (without seeing your mouse in the picture.)
