SVD (Singular Value Decomposition)

Hi, I am new to KNIME Textprocessing module. I used Text Mining on other commercial tools. There, I usually use SVD for dimensional reduction/transformation (a common practice, I think) before conducting Classification or Clustering on the documents. Is there SVD in the module; I could not find it. If not, how do we do a transformation on the large sparse matrix?

Hi Delen,

there is no SVD node available yet. Alternatively, to get rid of the sparsness you can also apply a PCA on the sparse document vectors, retaining 99% of the information. I know this is not the same as a SVD, but it helps to get rid of the sparsness.
