Table Difference Finder - Column index vs column names?

Hi,
I’m trying to use the column difference finder node. I have two Excel sheets that should have the same data, in the same order, but they have different column names. The column difference finder in this case doesn’t appear to provide any useful output to me… Is there a way to find differences based on column index rather than column name?

Hi,
Maybe not directly, but you could use the Extract Column Header node followed by Transpose to create tables with the column names and then compare those. Does that help?

Hello @Snowy,

if you use Extract Column Header node on both input files you’ll have same same column names afterwards .
