Tableau Extension Installed But Not Appearing in Preferences

Hello Fellow KNIMERs,

Hope all is well. I have installed the tableau extension some time ago…

…but I do not see it in preferences, so I think that’s causing an issue when I get error when I try to use Tableau Writer node…

Would you know how to configure?

Hello @chrisgranelli,

Maybe you can try uninstalling and installing it again.

Uninstallation

If you navigate to Help → Installation Details → Search for “Tableau” → Click Uninstall

Installation

First thing we need to do is to, check update sites are enabled to fetch extensions from. For this you can navigate to File → Preferences → Under “Install/Update” click on “Available Software Sites” → Enable all the links (picture below):

Now, you can proceed with installing the extension as usual. It should fix the problem. If the problem persists feel free to reach out.
