I have a question regarding the Team Plan. At the moment, I work with different companies on various data science and analytics projects.
I have an idea to provide several customers with specific data apps.
My questions are:
→ Is it possible to create data apps with the Teams Plan that can be accessed via a web browser by multiple users? If yes, does every user have to be member of the team?**
→ Additionally, can I have multiple customers within one Teams Plan, where I share a private space with each customer without them knowing about the other customers?**
You can invite multiple people to your team and manage access to each space you create separately. Each user will be able to run the Data Apps in the spaces they have access to (adhoc run of a workflow).
However they would be able to see the list of members in the team, all team members.
Each user has to be a team member to be able to achieve this.
We have in our plans a new feature for Community Hub where you would be able to add “end users” to the team. They wouldn’t even necessarily need to see the workflows themselves, just be able to run deployed data apps. I think that will be the ultimate solution for your use case.
Thanks for the great feedback! You’re absolutely right—this would be the ideal solution for my case!
Is the “end user” feature already available for testing? Do you have an estimate for when it will be released?
And do you currently have a testing program for the team plan? I’d love to check a few things out and how it looks on the web to see if it’s suitable.
Pretty keen to find out about the release date yet - actually just trying out the team plan on the free trial that was published today and just realised that data apps are not yet available… that’d be a game changer…
If you are looking for more testers I’d be happy to contribute
