We are a cutting-edge biotech startup based in Vienna, Austria, innovating complex biological systems with large-scale readouts for drug discovery.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join our team remotely on a part-time contract basis for an initial period of 3 months, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.

You will be responsible for developing python scripts and KNIME workflows for data handling, analysis, and interactive visualization. You will work closely with our team of biologists and data scientists.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Extensive experience with python and KNIME
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in data analytics and visualization
  • Fluency in English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstration of previous projects (github or products)
  • Hands-on experience with biological assay data
  • Experience in scientific research
  • Experience with Spotfire or similar
