Text Output Widget (legacy) customization via CSS Editor node

Hi,
I would like to customize a Text Output Widget (legacy) node via a CSS Editor node, but I don’t see any changes (see attached example). What’s wrong?

Hi @alfroc

To get it working:

Wrap the nodes inside a component and open it. Click on the node layout button on the top toolbar and enable the option Use legacy mode .

Execute the component and open the interactive view. You’ll now see the changes being applied.

Thanks for the reply, that’s how it works!
However, I wonder why it can’t work without necessarily needing a component node…

I agree it’s not the most convenient thing out there but then it’s a legacy node for a reason
