- The interface does not accept typing accents, commas, periods, quotes;
- but in the old interface it works normally;
- on the LINUX operating system it works fine;
- no errors occur.
Hello @Diego_de_Castro,
Did you experience the bug on Linux (or in what situation do you encounter it)? I know you mention it works fine on Linux, but the annotation does accept the accents, commas, periods, and quotes.
I checked on both macOS and Windows and the annotation works as expected.

Hello, I tested it on Mac and Windows too, on Linux it worked as expected, however I needed to change the default system language, after that it didn’t work anymore. When testing I discovered that it works in the classic interface. I have already reinstalled KNIME but the problem continues on Linux.
One important issue is that accents and punctuation do not work anywhere in the Knime interface and in any other operating system software they work normally.
@Diego_de_Castro Thanks for the response
Let me see if I can reproduce it, it does look like a bug. Just to be clear, for the bug to show up:
- Be on Linux ( I will VM for this part)
- Change default system language (is there any specific one so I can be as close as possible to your situation)
- Be on MUI (as you note it works on classic UI, but not modern)
Does changing back the system language seem to fix it?
Let me know if this is the correct steps you took for the behavior to occur, and I will check it out.
