Time dimension ala OLAP

Hi,
I am working with KNIME mostly half year.
It quit impressive tool.
Unfortunately I do not understand how Knime handle time.
There are some time series but it is not how I am expecting .
When I want to see data on granularity Year I have to extract data from date.
When I want to see data on granularity Mont I have to extract data from date.
It is quit common function to create time dimension with functionality drill down.

You can handle time in KNIME in a similar way as “congos” using this verified component " Aggregation Granularity" on KNIME Hub.
