Trouble Connecting to SAP Datasphere via DB Connector – Proxy Issue?

Hello everyone,

I’m currently using the DB Connector node in KNIME to connect to SAP Datasphere.

Recently, there seems to have been a change in the SAP connection process, which has affected both Power BI Desktop and KNIME connectivity.

The issue was resolved in Power BI by adjusting the proxy configuration. I’m now trying to configure the proxy settings in KNIME as well, but I’m having trouble getting it to work.

Is there any recommended procedure or documentation for setting up a proxy in KNIME specifically for JDBC connections like ngdbc.jar (SAP’s recommended JDBC driver)?

Our IT team is also trying to contact SAP about this, but we haven’t received a response yet.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

The problem was solved. There was some restriction in the company’s firewall.
