unable to install Af Utility Nodes extension knime versions 5.2.1
Hi @Isamira and welcome to the KNIME community forum.
Generally it is easier for others to help troubleshoot issues if you can give additional information.
What have you tried?
Do you have any screenshots you can share?
Do you see an error message? If so, what?
Have you been able to install other extensions ok? Which ones?
I have this error.
I have an offline installation of knime where the update is done through a shared folder where I have trustedcommunitycontribution_5.1.
Hi @Isamira , there are different offline update files for each KNIME version.
If you are using KNIME 5.2.1, I would expect that you would need to have the 5.2 version of the trusted community contribution extension, rather than version 5.1
See the “Update Sites for Community Extensions” section of KNIME Extensions Guide:
Okay, I’ll try it out.
Thanks for your quick reply.
Hi @Isamira is your problem resolved now?
On a more general note, it is best to stick to a single thread for one problem, rather than opening a new topic on the same subject a month or so later…
https://forum.knime.com/t/i-cant-install-some-extensions-like-af-utility-nodes/85752/3?u=takbb
When you reply on a topic it gets bumped back to the top so it will be seen, but opening a new topic means that effort is duplicated, and it becomes confusing on the forum. Thanks.
I have an offline installation of knime 5.2.1 where the update is done in a shared folder on the network-- trustedcommunity_5.1_202407312235
I can’t install some extensions like AF utility nodes.
Can someone help me with this please?
I have this error.
Hello @Isamira,
I can see you are isong the KNIME AP 5.2, but 5.1 for your update site. Can you change it to TrustedExtensions-5.2-latest and try again?
Best,
Keerthan
Good morning,
Sorry for the delay.
I tested with but I’m getting the same error.
Hi @Isamira , can you upload a screenshot of your current config for “Available Software Sites” please.
Can you maybe widen the dialog so we can read all of it?
Hi @Isamira , I realise it’s not obvious that the dialog window can be enlarged, but it can be. I meant like this…
Then we can see you entire config, which in my case looks like this, but in your case will show just the local archive.
We need to be able to see the entire file name for your archive to make sure it looks right in the config.
Can you also show us what the file size is for that zip file in windows file explorer, so we can check it hasn’t been corrupted.
thanks @Isamira , and can you also post a screenshot of the TrustedExensions zip file as it appears in windows explorer, with the file size.
Hello
Any ideas on how to solve it?
you also need our base update site enabled, see here how to download and add it: KNIME Analytics Platform Installation Guide
It the above guide it is the linked " KNIME Analytics Platform Update Site".
AF Utility Nodes
needs some package from our base update site.
Best
