unable to install extensions

I have installed KNIME version 3.5.3 on windows environment, but i am unable to install extensions, below is the screenshot of the error message.

Could someone help me on this issue please.

quick question: Do you use KNIME within a company network? if so, maybe your firewall blocks the communication.

Hey @pawanmtm,

my guess is, that either (a) the update site is down or (b) something blocks the traffic on your side.
For (a), my suggestion would be to wait 24hrs and try again. Maybe there is some maintenance going on. For (b), only you can help yourself and check if anything on your computer or one of your network devices blocks traffic.

If you are still having trouble installing extensions, you could try downloading the them as a zipfile and installing from your local machine. The process is described here:

Hi @ajsingh84,

  1. In case if it is office system, then you need to disconnect the office network and try.
  2. If it is personal, wait for some time and try as some times the server might be down as mentioned above.

Also, i experienced that installing updates 1 by 1 is better than all, as it might result in failure.
