I have installed KNIME and trying to Install/Import KNIME Extensions , I am getting below error “some sites could not be found. see the error log for more detail. unable to read repository at https://update.knime.com/community-"“ . I tried all the possibilities shared in the Forum, no luck.
- Help→ Install Soft→ Manage – DIsable Partner Sites, also tried Reload.
Please help with the right solution as I need it urgently.
What version of KAP are you using? Could you provide more detail about what extension(s) you’re trying to install and the exact steps that you’ve tried? What OS are you using?
Hello, Thanks for your response. I am using KNIME 5.7.0.
Hi @praneeth1983,
without addressing rfeigels questions in full, it is really difficult to help you.
Furthermore, could you provide screenshots of Preferences –> Available Update Sites?

Apologies for multiple responses, I am using Windows OS, and downloaded KNIME 5.7.0. I am able to use KNIME with the default Nodes. I tried to install Jscript side extensions as taught in the session. For that, I tried to Install KNIME Extensions (File → Install KNIME Extensions…), but it is giving the below error: “some sites could not be found. see the error log for more detail. unable to read repository at https://update.knime.com/community-"“.
Later I read through FAQ Topics, and tried to diable Third Party in Help→Install Software→ Manage→Disabled Partner Apps and later tried with different permitations and combinations, no luck. Now, I tried again after all these checks, getting this error:
Unable to read repository at https://update.knime.com/community-contributions/latest/content.xml.
PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
So I want to resolve all these errors and want to install KNIME extensions as needed. Please help.
