Hi,
I’ve been trying to run the Python script node to create some graphs, but I keep getting this error:
I’m currently on Knime 4.6.0, and also have the latest version of Anaconda installed.
Not sure how to fix the issue, could someone please advise?
In your KNIME program, kindly go to File → Preferences → KNIME → Python and take a screenshot and paste in this thread
Do you have the option to change Python 2 conda environment to py2_knime, like in my screenshot below?
since I don’t have the environment in there yet, I tried to create a New environment. This is what happens:

You may try installing KNIME Python Integration extension
I’ve already done so and it still doesn’t work. I tried that before coming to the forums. 
Can you go to Start Menu → Anaconda3 Folder → Anaconda Prompt (Anaconda3) → type in: pip list and paste the screenshot here
Also can you screenshot your Python (Labs) from your Preferences → KNIME

I don’t think your problem is related to Python 2 not being set up in the preferences. The issue seems to originate from your Python script in the node. Would you mind sharing the script – or even better – a sample workflow including data that reproduces the problem?

This same workflow+python node worked previously. This only started occurring after I had to re-install Knime (due to getting a new laptop)
I see. Do df_store[['C445_WK_STRT_DATE']] or df_store['Actual_Sales']] in line 35 return a pandas.DataFrame with a single column or a pandas.Series? If yes, then this could be related to this Github issue and might be fixed by upgrading matplotlib to v3.5.2, or by turning all single-column data frames and series used for plotting into numpy arrays via to_numpy (also see here).

@jessicachanCTC you could try and use the (Windows) conda environment propagation in this example and see if this might work. You also could check the example how to get a matplotlib graphic and maybe adapt that to your code.
Then sometimes knime would not allow to install a new environment via the menu but you can easily create one from conda. Read this collection.
I think this package is needed. One option could be to start with a fresh yml file and add additional packages when needed but best let the latest conda version handle it to ensure compatibility.

Something is wrong with your connection to the Anaconda site, that is why you’re unable to retrieve the proper python packages. You may try using a VPN if your ISP is blocking it or turning off your VPN if you have it on.
