Unable to Write Zip files in Model Writer

I have recently downloaded KNIME 2.11.0 last weekend.

New version is Great and I was just checking the features.

I am unable to store the Model in a Zip file. It stores in a just .file format.

Could you please. help.

Congratulations and Many Thanks for the New Version.

Hi Team,

I am unable to store the Model in a Zip file. It stores in a .file format.

I know in the 2.8 or so (open source editions) there were some settings needed which  are not traceable on the net.

Would you be able to help please. I just got some updates for 2.11.0 but its still not working.

Many Thanks

I cannot reproduce your problem. If I enter "/tmp/model.zip" (e.g.) as path in the Model Writer it will happily create a zip file with the model contents. Note that the file name extension doesn't really matter, it will always be a zip file.

Hi Thor,

The Problem is Solved at least for now,  I can use the model, but I can't still save it in the traditional zip archive form (That showed the objects/files.)

Earlier, due to the the saved model in the zip file (which actually got saved in .file) was generating wierd predictions eg. all False, when loaded through the Model Reader.

Now I am able to use the model, but I can't still save it in the traditional zip archive form.

Many Thanks and Have a great Festive Season Ahead,

Best Regards,

Hi Thor,

Now It works. Many Thanks, I really do not know the reason.

Have a Great Christmas.

Hi Thor,

Many Thanks for solving my previous queries. They are extreemly helpful.

Following is an old issue so I am not raising it again. But if you could please guide me.

I want to stream a csv file at a given speed of say 3-5 instances per 60 mins and stream this as a test data to a model based workflow.

Can I do this with KNIME? .

Also, will this matter at all? I feel I am just slowing the speed down for testing by using such facility to stream the instance.

In fact I wish to see if the streaming is done based on any hidden pattern the presence of the model or as an inherent property of the data.

Cheers,

Bhoomin Pandya
