UNIX Timestampt to Date&Time: Prevent new columns added automatically

Hi,

there are still some lingering nodes that lack even the most basic filter functionality like the UNIX Timestampt to Date&Time.

When a new number-type column is added, that automatically appears in the list of included columns which apparently is unwanted and causes processing issues.

If that node is not goping to get any new features like type based, wildcard or regex bnased filtering, can the behavior to auto-add new columns be corrected please?

Hi @mwiegand ,

from the screenshot it looks like you selected “Enforce exclusion”. In that case adding the new column to the list of included columns is in line with all other nodes.
That being said, the modern UI for the UNIX Timestamp to Date&Time node is already in the nightly build, to be released with 5.5. If you have the time, please give it a try.

Thanks for pointing it out. Switching to Enforce Exlcusion is what I meant to suggest.

About 5.5 … is it planned to host a new round of the Community Hacking Days?
