We have today released v1.30.0 to the nightly build. This adds two new KNIME URI resolver nodes, one of which operates on a table column, the other on a variable. In each case, the node attempts to convert the knime:// protocol (knime://knime.workflow/, knime://LOCAL etc) to a local file path or file:// protocol URI.
This provides a direct route to Convert KNIME protocol path to absolute path, for example.
