Updating Server from 4.13.3 to 4.15

Hello there.

Could be possible to update from a 4.13.3 KNIME Server instance to v4.15?

This document offers details about updating from 4.14.x, but we arent sure it applys also to 4.13.

From v4.13, do you officially recommend a two-step update (4.13 → 4.14 → 4.15) or a fresh v4.15 installation?

Yes it is possible to directly update from 4.13* to 4.15* version assuming you are not running on TomEE based installation, If you are not sure about the TomEE installation, then you can download the fresh installation of KNIME Server 4.15.2 version using the following link.

With the release of KNIME Server 4.13.0, we discontinue support for TomEE based installations. It is not possible to upgrade a TomEE based KNIME Server to version 4.13.0 or higher. Instead, a fresh installation has to be performed.

Hello Nagarjun.

We are using Apache Tomcat with v4.13. So, installation steps for us would be the same as upgrading from 4.14?

Hi @jricgar ,

Yes you can directly upgrade your KNIME Server from 4.13 to 4.15.2. Please follow the upgrade guide.
