Hi Team / @armingrudd - here’s a bug/issue I just found…
v5.4.0 has a new name for the Variable Expressions node! The new version does NOT have an “s” at the end!

Columns Expressions also has been changed to Expression… 
Why on earth would you change something like that??? All my WFs are failing due to this!!! Unfortunately, due to the corporate firewall, I can’t look for updates…
Why o’ why?
The node name was changed to “Variable Expressions (legacy)”. Do you have that node installed in 5.4? If not, then I think that should fix your issues.

As @iCFO also mentioned, the “Variable Expression” without the “s” is the new node from the KNIME Expressions extension with 3 new nodes. The old Variable/Column Expressions nodes are under KNIME Column Expressions (legacy) extension.
Your workflows will run as before if you install the missing extension in your new installation. As always, this extension needs to be installed but the new one comes with the standard (default) installation.

I personally feel that calling the new nodes “Expression” and “Variable Expression” (with the singular “expression” instead of plural “expressions”) was a poor choice of naming that was bound to cause confusion (as it already has on a number of occasions here on the forum).
