version 4.2 update

Hi,

when I was trying to update from 4.1.3 to 4.2 (Mac version), it says there is there is no direct update available. If I download and install v 4.2, will my existing files be retained or will they get deleted.?

Hi @knimebsr,

due to Java and Eclipse updates there is no direct update path from within KNIME. All files (workspace) should stay present after installing new version. See here for more: Update Question
