What is "Extract Variable (Database)" ?

Hello,

I’m trying to extract Variable from a query, and I found this node.
Does Someone know how does it work ?
The Description of the Node is terrible (better to say there’s no description) and there’s also no example on the Hub.

For a “KNIME Core” Extension is really aggravating that the documentation is so poor.

It is not clear what do you mean by query variable. If previous node has KNIME variables this node will extract them through red point port.
