Hi, I noticed a panel on the left side near the home button. What is it, and how can I close it?
After switching to a different workspace, the left panel is no longer visible.

Welcome to the KNIME forum.
I believe Modern KNIME view is still in progress and enhancements are being made. What you are is seeing might be a bug.
If you do not want to see it. Try Maximizing the panel clicking on the double windows icon and then you will see cross mark to close it. Your panel will disappear.

When I click on the double windows, it moves
from the left to the bottom, and there is no cross mark to close it.
