Which version of KNIME should I recommend to clients/organizations/teams?

In the past I have been in situation where I have built a workflow in KNIME to automate a data process and later hand the workflow to someone else to run on an ongoing basis.

When doing something like this, is there a particular KNIME version I should be doing this on?

If a company already has chosen a particular version of KNIME the recommend to users in their company, then there is no choice to make, but those companies or teams within a company that don’t have a recommended version what version should I recommend?

I just switched to 5.5.0! It’s already brilliant with the newest LLM improvements.

Thank you @ActionAndi . All of the extensions you use already available on version 5.5? Or are you running 5.5 in addition to an older version?

Hi,

well I’m not using very much or very specific extensions. But I always try out new versions with the stand alone self extracting version. Just download, unpack and create a new folder for the temporary workflow folder. Then I check if all my extensions are available and I import some of my most critical workflows. If it works fine I switch to the newest version.
