White Screen Crash Preventing Start-up

Good day,
I’ve mentioned this in a previous post but what was a hindrance has now made knime unusable.

Last week, for the first time in a while, I got a white screen in knime with no option to do anything but save my workflows and restart. Usually this resolve the issue.

Just now it happened again, I restarted knime and on the workflow screen I was prompted to update to 5.5. I updated without issue and restarted as prompted to do.

Now when I start knime, after selecting my workflow location from the start up window, it goes directly to a white screen with no option to do anything. Restarting the application results in the same white screen. Image below

I’ll also attach my knime.log file to assist. I keep seeing the message “Problem with node extension “KNIME Base nodes”. Some nodes might not be available. Please contact the vendor of the extension.”.

Any assistance regarding this would be appreciated.
