Win11, KNIME AP 5.4.2 - UI breaks and shifts left

In KNIME AP, the interface shifts left outside of the visible window. As you can see in the screenshot, I then get a white bar on the right hand-side. The UI is still responsive and a restart resets this.

Another workaround is to click on the partially obscured ‘Home’ button, which then puts things back into position, and then by opening another workflow.

I’m not sure yet how to reproduce this.

Hey @ajackson,

thanks for reporting. We have also experienced this problem ourselves. Sadly we have not yet found a way to reproduce this either. We will still further investigate, but without a proper way to reproduce it, it is really hard to find a solution.

Please let us know if you figure out a way to trigger this behaviour more often.

Update: I’ve managed to reproduce it several times (up to a point)

Clicking to go to the first workflow I have open works just fine from the Home page as these two screenshots show:

But if I go from the 2nd workflow to the 1st, then it cuts things off.

If I then go back to the 2nd workflow, it resets the window back to normal

It also reproduces it if I go from the 3rd workflow to the 1st.

I did it was a couple of other workflows (with shorter names) and it shifted things but to a lesser extent.

I then did some more testing, but was then the issue disappeared and the tests above then stopped working.

sadly not, I tried the steps that you described, but for me it worked as expected. I still want to do some further testing, but I won’t come to that before next week.

The interface moves

Hi, I’ve been using KNIME lately and have been having issues with the development screen. When I access a metanode or switch tabs between projects, it moves or shrinks. You can see the difference on the right side which is blank, cutting into screen space. [image]

The KNIME display will shift offscreen. This has happened on different computers. [image] Sometimes the Node Monitor is blank when selecting a node. The Create Date&Time Range node in a metanode does not reset when I select Reset all. I have to open the metanode to reset it.
