Workflow Error on KNIME Server 4.6.5: "Further workflow execution is not possible"

Hi all,

I have recently started using KNIME and need some help with my workflow. I developed a workflow on KNIME Analytics Platform 4.6.5, and it runs smoothly on the platform. However, when I try to run it on the KNIME server (also 4.6.5), I encounter an error after uploading my Excel file:

WORKFLOW ERROR: Further workflow execution is not possible. Please check workflow.

This error isn’t very detailed, so I’m unsure how to proceed. All my nodes seem to be running without any errors on the platform. How can I diagnose this issue, and is it a common one?

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  1. Checked Node Configurations: Verified that all node configurations are correct.
  2. Verified File Paths: Ensured that the file paths are accessible and correctly referenced.

The Dev team is working on to ensure that component error messages are propagated and displayed in both the WebPortal and the remote workflow editor console. Ticket number for intrenal reference : AP-18531.

For time being, open the data app in the remote workflow editor to check what is causing the workflow to fail. Hope this helps.
