I saw a notification banner on KNIME AP 5.9.0 regarding the availability of an extension update. It turned out to be an update for XLS Formatting & Utlities. After the update though, I can no longer find the XLS Formatter (apply) node. Has this node been changed in the latest version?
@atiorile have you checked the installed extensions to use the XLS Formatters?
Yes, I checked that one. For now, I have gotten XLS Formatter (apply) back by installing (downgrading) XLS Formatting & Utilities version 1.6 instead of 1.7.

Here are the steps to revert to an older version in KNIME:
- Click Preferences at the top right.
- Click the chevron arrow to the left of Install/Update > Available Software Sites.
- Click Add and put in:
Name: KNIME Community Extensions (Trusted) 5.8
Location: https://update.knime.com/community-contributions/trusted/5.8
- Click Add.
- Uncheck KNIME Community Extensions (Trusted).
- Click Apply and Close.
- Click Menu at the top right.
- Click Install extensions > already installed.
- Click XLS Formatting & Utilities > Uninstall…
- Once the uninstall has completed, go to Menu at the top right > Install extensions.
- Type filter text: XLS Formatting & Utilities.
- Check XLS Formatting & Utilities. This time, the version should be 1.6.0.
- Click Next > and complete the installation steps.
- After the installation is complete, go back to Preferences at the top right > click chevron arrow to the left of Install/Update > Available Software Sites.
- Check KNIME Community Extensions (Trusted).
- Uncheck KNIME Community Extensions (Trusted) 5.8.
- Click Apply and Close.
- Ignore all the notifications asking you to update XLS Formatting & Utilities.
