XLS reader and column type help?

Dear All

I am reading (XLS reader) an excel table with only one row.  I am setting this row as the column name with the XLS reader node.  Because there is no data, all the columns are set as 'unknown' type.  Is there anyway of automatically setting all the columns as string types within the XLS reader node?

I know that I could use the 'column rename' node, but is there a better way?

Hi, change your data to an CSV file from Xls sheet, then use the File reader nodes, then go to
column delimiter> choose "semicolon"
