XLS Writer - maximum number of length of cell contents

I would appreciate any advice for a new KNIME user. 

I am getting the following message when using a XLS writer node - "execute failed - maximum length of cell contents (text) is 32,767 characters"

My csv file does not contain cells of this length (closer to 400 characters). Also I have run about 50 other files of similar content with no problem.  

Can anyone help?

What are the column types you are trying to write?
It's difficult to identify the reason for the failure without any knowledge about the workflow. Can you provide some information about the data you are trying to write in the xls-file?
