I’m an absolute KNIME newbie and I’m biting my teeth out trying to read in a BMEcat (xml).
I have already searched for instructions, tried various more or less chaotic attempts (trial and error) and had a tedious discussion with an external AI.
All to no avail so far. Does anyone have any tips as to whether there might even be standard instructions?

Could you have another look at your post? It seems like you intended to write more. In it’s current state it’s unlikely anyone will be able to help you due to lack of details. Try to include an example xml file and also your desired output.
I found an example BMEcat file online and able to read and extract it with the relevant xml nodes so it’s highly likely it’s also possible for your situation 
@HelPi Be careful. BMECat is XML, yes, but it can be extented - which I have seen a lot. You will most likely not find any workflow for BMECat 1.2 “standard” which fits out of the box. Also as mentioned from @ArjenEX please be more specific: What do you want to achieve? Which issues do you have on your way? Any detailed warnings, error messages, etc.?

I’m also not sure when exactly I’ll be able to get back to the topic, but I’ll come back to it.
