Component Description and Share in KNIME 5.1.1 on linux

Hello,

I am using KNIME Analytics Platform 5.1.1 on linux.
When I create a new component the pen icon in the description window is not present so i can not edit a description. In addition the Share option is not present.

Am I missing something or is it a bug ?

Hi @ckaraf , and welcome to the KNIME community.

I don’t think you are missing anything, but I believe those features are still missing from the Modern UI.

I suggest switching to classic UI at the moment to edit the description and sharing of components.

Hi @robertokonek47 , and welcome to the KNIME community. Do you mean you have downloaded the latest version (KNIME 5.1) and you wish it to look like your screenshot (i.e. the classic UI )? If so, yes , click on the (i) on the top right of the KNIME AP 5.1 desktop [image] then scroll down and click “Switch to KNIME classic user interface” [image] You can switch back at any time using the “Open KNIME Modern UI” on the top right of the KNIME Classic UI window.
