Create R Node with 2 inputs

Hi,
I would like to be able to create a Knime R snippet node that takes 2 inputs, as I want to be able to compare two sets of data. The only way I can think to do this easily is to copy the existing Knime R Snippet code and add a second input port. However, I haven’t been able to load the source code for R extensions into the Eclipse developer environment. Is there an easy way to do this and to copy an existing node to create a new node?
Thanks,
Liz

Hi Liz,
Sorry for the delay: If you are using the KNIME SDK version, you can simply derive your NodeModel implementation from the org.knime.ext.r.node.RNodeModel and specify the desired number of ports.
Best, Thomas

hi Thomas,

can you specify this installation process a litte exactly? I am also interessing in expanding the number of ports of R Snippet. Thanks a lot!

Best regards

Sorry for the delay. You need to download the KNIME SDK from our website http://knime.org/downloads/overview Create your own node extension using the Node-Extension-Wizard, you need to adapt the XYZNodeModel and derive it from the RNodeModel. More about implementing your own node can be found here http://tech.knime.org/developer-guide.
