File reader - user setting persistence

Hi guys,
In the file reader node there is a convenient tick box to keep the user parameter when loading a new file.

However the tick box always get unticked when the configuration of the node is opened again.
Is it expected ?
It would be great if the tick box state could be persistent (like the other parameters).

Or should one tick the box before changing the path? as suggested here

Dear Dimitri, just use the option "Preserve user settings for new location" before changing the file path in the File Reader node.

please use this tick box as in the linked forum post described: if you want to keep the settings while changing the file location (manually) set this option before that.
