Have global variables (across different workflows) been implemented?

The suggestion posed related to the introduction of global variables into Knime which could be used and referenced by any workflow in a server or folder.

Has there been any updates on this from Knime’s side? Or are the current solutions predominantly leveraging external storage?

@jarrodst welcome to the KNIME community. Have you considered using meta nodes or components and share them. So if something changes every workflow using these would get an update.
