I’m new to KNIME, but I have had success connecting to SQL Databases through the “Microsoft SQL Server Connector” Node.
I’ve been able to connect to the cube using Power BI SQL SAS connection.
I just can’t seem to figure out how to connect to this same cube in KNIME.
Here is my error message. Any help is appreciated!
ERROR Microsoft SQL Server Connector 3:1417 Execute failed: The TCP/IP connection to the host port 1433 has failed. Error: “Connect timed out. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall.”.
Right now connection to SSAS isn’t supported, but we have a ticket for it in the system (AP-16218). You might also check this thread for past discussion:
