How do I know, which flow variables will replace certain node settings?

Is there a way to find out in the configure(…) and execute(…) method of a node, if a certain node setting is controlled by a flow variable? Best would be to know, which setting would be controlled by which flow variable. I would like to use this information to activate some special code that is required in this case only.
If such an API does not exist yet, I would like to request it to be added. I believe this would be useful in some scenarios.

Welcome to the forum, @nobaj. I don’t think any such list or documentation exists. It may be apparent if you look at the source code, but my usual approach is to configure the node, then type a variable name in the textbox on the Flow Variables tab and see what the result is.
