I can not get Vernalis nodes to install in a new installation of Knime

I can not get Vernalis nodes to install in a new installation of Knime. When I try to install using the normal install new software dialog box, I keep getting the following message:

My friend is also having the same error. But I donā€™t. When I tried to install vernalis in my environment, it said ā€œVernalis KNIME Nodesā€ will be ignored because a newer version is already installed."

The difference is that I had updated KNIME from older version to 5.3.0, and my friend installed KNIME 5.3.0 for the first time.

I hope that kind of information helps someone to figure it out the solution.

I have the same issue on my notebook but not my desktop pc the difference is that vernalis wasnā€™t installed on my notebook before updated it to 5.3.0

My friend found a (kind of ) solution. Uninstall 5.3.0, and install older version of KNIME 5.2.x. Then, update to 5.3.0. Vernalis has been already installed. Installed version is v1.36.7.

Latest version available in community hub is 1.36.5.

However, the latest version is 1.36.7.

This is a tentative solution until v1.36.7 will be available in the community hub, I guess.

I just tried (again) to install the Vernalis nodes today in latest version of Knime. It seems to work now. Thank you, to whoever fixed it!

It is indeed fixed - I take no credit, I think it was @gab1one who fixed while I was on annual leave

(Thanks Gabriel - thatā€™s probably another  I owe you next time Iā€™m in Berlin!)
